T-Mobile acquires Maven backed Blis

Maven continues its long term track record of achieving successful private company realisations through the sale of Blis to the global telecommunications provider.

Maven Investor Partners have completed a profitable exit from Blis, a global programmatic advertising company, through a sale to global telecommunications company T-Mobile which values the business at $175 million.

Maven invested in the business, alongside lead investor LDC, in 2022, backing the management team led by Founder and CEO Greg Isbister and including CFO Parm Dhami, CTO Aaron McKee, CPO Amy Fox, Global Commercial Officer Dave King and President of Blis US Alex Boras.

London headquartered Blis has developed a radically different advertising platform that structures data based on geography rather than identity, linking real-world actions to digital behaviours. Its advanced omnichannel targeting capabilities enable advertisers to connect with audiences often missed by ID-based solutions, ensuring greater accuracy and efficiency. Blis remains at the forefront of innovation, delivering future-proof technology that drives measurable performance and helps advertisers reach and engage audiences across all screens. Founded in the UK in 2004, Blis employs over 300 global employees across 14 offices in 11 countries.

Since Maven’s investment, the business has invested heavily in its technology platform, increased headcount from 240 to more than 320 employees, and expanded its international footprint, particularly in the US. During the three-year partnership Blis’s turnover has also increased by 75%.
