Maven Capital Partners, Fund Manager for Finance Durham, has announced a series of 1-2-1 virtual funding clinics set to launch in April. The support sessions will enable companies to identify the most suitable type of finance to meet their funding needs. Ran by Maven’s local investment team, the clinics will support local businesses across County Durham.
Maven ensure the widest range of businesses can access, use and benefit from the clinics to improve their financial awareness and confidence, meaning more County Durham businesses are investor ready. Each business will register for a time slot with the local investment team who will provide support tailored to their individual business and growth needs.
Working with over 20 local support partners and the regional advisory community, Maven can also connect and introduce businesses to knowledgeable sources of advice and assistance to help them achieve their growth plans.
Appointed by Durham County Council to manage the £20 million Finance Durham Fund, Maven is helping to transform the financial landscape for businesses across County Durham, providing debt and equity funding packages between £150,000 - £2 million to support business growth.
Many local businesses already benefitting from the Fund include science technology business, Plexus Innovation, industry leading threat intelligence platform, Intelligence Fusion and the North East’s largest small-batch craft distillery, Durham Gin.
