The innovative motor retailer which is revolutionising the car buying experience set to help automotive giant launch its online retail service.
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is latest global car brand set to launch a new digital retail store in partnership with Maven investee Rockar. The car maker will now be able to offer its customers the option to buy their car entirely online, using Rockar’s innovative digital platform, as well as opening a new concept retail dealership at Westfield Stratford shopping complex in London.
Maven invested in Rockar back in July 2016 to enable the business to partner with more automotive manufacturers like JLR following its initial success with Hyundai.
Ryan Bevington, Investment Director at Maven, said: “Maven is a proud backer of innovative British businesses and Rockar’s management team has achieved impressive results in a relatively short period of time. The car industry is one of the few remaining retail sectors that has not yet embraced e-commerce or adapted to changing consumer trends. As a disruptor, Rockar is successfully challenging the traditional route to market and creating a compelling solution for modern consumer habits. The announcement of the JLR’s partnership is very positive and the latest endorsement of Rockar’s unique online proposition.”
