Maven Capital Partners is pleased to announce that it has appointed Alan Robertson as Investment Manager. He will work alongside David Milroy in Maven’s Central Scotland team, and will be based out of the Edinburgh office. Alan will focus on sourcing and executing new investment opportunities for the Scottish Loan Fund (SLF) as well as supporting new private equity transactions in Scotland.

Prior to this Alan spent seven years with RBS, predominantly working in the Aberdeen Structured Finance team financing mid-market private equity transactions. He latterly had responsibility for a portfolio of large corporate and leveraged clients.
Alan Robertson, Investment Director at Maven, said: “I am delighted to have joined Maven and look forward to increasing our presence on the ground in Edinburgh and helping support local east coast businesses realise their potential through investment from Maven and the SLF.”
Andrew Craig, Fund Manager for the SLF and Partner at Maven, said: “We are pleased to welcome Alan to the team at Maven. The SLF has now committed over £15 million to ambitious Scottish SMEs in just over a year and the appointment of an experienced Investment Manager will help us maintain that momentum. Alan will play an important role in supporting the SLF and expanding Maven’s business as a whole.”
