Tom leads the London office and is a co-lead on Maven’s Institutional Buyout Fund. His responsibilities include deal origination and execution of MBO investments across London and the South of England, typically investing between £5m and £20m of equity.
Prior to joining Maven, Tom was an Associate Director in the M&A team at Grant Thornton in London. In this role, Tom advised on a wide range of private and public company transactions for both private equity and corporate clients. Prior to this he started his career in Business Restructuring before moving into Transaction Services.
Tom graduated from the University of Durham with a BA (Honours) in Business, and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Outside of work Tom enjoys attempting to keep fit, juggling his three young children and when time permits, enjoys sailing, skiing and cycling.
