Paul joined Maven in August 2024, based in our Nottingham office, he is responsible for new MEIF II debt investment across the Southeast Midlands and help to manage the growing debt portfolio for the region. Supporting businesses across Northampton, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire and Luton, Paul works with local SME’s to assist with their growth plans.
Paul has over 17 years’ experience within the business and commercial banking sector. Paul has worked for several banks and alternative lenders in his career. Prior to working with in the financial services sector, Paul had leadership positions within retail.
Outside of work, Paul is kept busy with a young family and can often be found in the kitchen trying out new culinary techniques and testing these out on family and friends. He also enjoys DIY and learning new carpentry skills.
I am proud to be part of the MEIF II team, it's really rewarding to support SMEs operating in the same area I live. I've grown up seeing local businesses thrive and create new employment opportunities, and I get great enjoyment in knowing I’ve had a small part to play in growing the South East Midlands economy.
