Lorna Kelly

Lorna joined Maven in June 2021 and is based in our Edinburgh office. In her role as Strategic Development Director, her responsibilities include developing new fund opportunities and growth strategies. She also works closely with our Private Equity fund and is core to our firm’s Responsible Investment and ESG activities.

Prior to joining Maven, Lorna spent seven years with the mid-market private equity firm, Dunedin LLP, where she covered investor relations across all core geographies. She also took the lead on developing and delivering on ESG across the portfolio, reporting in-depth regularly to their investor base.

Previously, Lorna was based in London and helped to raise Coller Capital’s $5.5bn global secondaries fund. Lorna began her career with ten years at Credit Suisse where she was a Vice President in their Private Equity placement team, the Private Fund Group.

Lorna has an M.A. (Hons.) from the University of Glasgow.

Outside of work, Lorna is generally to be found covered in mud from either hill running or mountain biking, at which she excels at falling off. She is occasionally more zen thanks to her interest in paddle boarding, kayaking and yoga practice.
