Jonathan joined Maven in December 2017 and is based in our Nottingham office. His responsibilities include leading Maven’s MEIF team in the East & South East Midlands; and identifying and completing debt finance deals, primarily in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Prior to joining Maven, Jonathan was Portfolio Director at Catapult Ventures where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of equity investments, including taking them through to exit. He previously worked in the public sector establishing and monitoring a number of equity and loan funds and the early part of his career was spent with NatWest, including relationship and credit roles.
He has a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Leicester.
Outside of work Jonathan ‘enjoys’ football as a fan of West Bromwich Albion, watching live bands, theatre and travel.
Having lived and worked in the East Midlands for most of my life, I’ve always been motivated by being able to support a business to grow, to employ more people and to contribute to the prosperity and the locality in which they operate. Working with great management teams to do this is really satisfying.
