David was part of the team that established Maven in June 2009, following the management buy-out from the Aberdeen Asset Management Group. He is based in our Glasgow office and his primary responsibility is acting as Company Secretary to the Maven VCTs.
From 1999 until Maven was formed, David was in the investment trust and VCT client secretarial team at Aberdeen Asset Management PLC. Prior to that, David worked for Murray Johnstone Limited, starting in the investment administration team in 1982, before transferring to the combined group and client secretariat in 1996.
David is a Chartered Secretary and Governance Professional, and an Associate member of The Chartered Governance Institute (ACG).
Outside of work David plays golf, and enjoys travelling, listening to music and spending time with his family.
